About me
Talia Shortt, MDEM (c) is candidate of York University’s Master of Disaster and Emergency Management program. With a background in Sociology and Environmental Studies from the University of Victoria, Talia’s interest in understanding disasters has brought her from her Vancouver Island roots to Toronto. As Talia nearing completion her graduate research related to Taylor Swift Eras Tour and concert risk reduction, she is a new and emerging voice in the profession.
