I am a Ph.D. student and Research Assistant at the University of Alberta. My research focuses on wildfire preparedness and evacuation, including projects on First Nations wildfire preparedness in British Columbia and inclusive, equitable evacuation planning for older adults in Edson, Alberta.
I hold a master’s degree in Emergency Management and Disaster Sciences, during which I examined post-buyout land use management following Hurricane Harvey in Texas. My research interests center on advancing equitable, community-informed approaches to disaster preparedness, response, and recovery.
