About me
Dr. Mahmood Fayazi is an Assistant Professor and Program Head of Disaster and Emergency Management at Royal Roads University, BC, Canada. He holds a PhD degree in Environmental Design and Planning from the University of Montreal, Canada, and has conducted research across the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and North America. Dr. Fayazi has strong research and community planning ties with the Mohawk Indigenous community of Kanesatake in Quebec.
